Click the slide that you want to apply a background style to. On the Design tab, in the Background group, click Background Styles, then click Format Background. Click Fill, then click Picture or texture fill. To insert a picture from a file, click File, and double-click the picture that you want to insert. Click Close.

Open the Inspector, go to the second tab (Slide inspector), then click the Appearance sub tab. Click Choose on the Image fill option, and choose your image.

VENICE, Italy (AP) ? Spanish filmmaker David Victori has won the inaugural edition of YouTube's Your Film Festival for his short movie "The Guilt."

The winner was announced Sunday on the sidelines of the Venice Film Festival after selection by a jury that included director Ridley Scott and actor Michael Fassbender.

Victori, whose movie focuses on a man obsessed with revenge after his wife's murder, will receive $500,000 for his next project, with Scott and Fassbender acting as executive producers. That means Victori will benefit by having the guidance of the two experienced insiders and be able to add their names to his next work.

YouTube viewers chose the 10 finalists who traveled to Venice for the final selection after viewing the films on YouTube's channel www.YouTube.com/yourfilmfestival. The narrative-driven submissions could be no longer than 15 minutes in length.

YouTube has held film contests in the past, but the global Your Film Festival is on a much larger scale.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) ? Le'Veon Bell spent the last couple seasons splitting carries in the Michigan State backfield.

Now he's unquestionably the team's top running threat ? and, boy, has that changed his workload.

Bell ran for a career-high 210 yards on 44 carries Friday night, helping No. 13 Michigan State outlast No. 24 Boise State 17-13. The junior's second touchdown of the night ? a 5-yard run with 8:12 remaining ? helped the Spartans avoid an upset on a night Bell outgained the Broncos all by himself.

"The offensive line in the huddle, they were ready to run the ball," Bell said. "That is something the linemen love doing, that's something I love doing, of course. We just want to get over the hump and keep moving forward."

After Bell's touchdown put the Spartans ahead, the Broncos drove to the Michigan State 42, but Joe Southwick's pass on fourth-and-2 was broken up.

The Spartans (1-0) then ran off the final 6:32.

Boise State (0-1) was sluggish in its first game after losing standouts Kellen Moore and Doug Martin from last season's explosive offense. The Broncos' only touchdown came on Jeremy Ioane's 43-yard interception return in the second quarter.

"We wanted to come out and play fast and physical and I think we did that," Michigan State linebacker Max Bullough said. "I think that it was a good game to start with and I think we proved ourselves."

Bell became Michigan State's undisputed top running back when Edwin Baker left to enter the NFL draft after last season. His 44 carries Friday more than doubled his previous career high of 20, and he also set career marks with six receptions for 55 yards.

"A number of times he made something out of nothing," Spartans coach Mark Dantonio said. "You can't underestimate ? 44 touches, and not fumbling the ball, and not coming close to fumbling it. He had some huge plays out there."

The Spartans outgained Boise State 461 yards to 206 but turned the ball over four times.

The Broncos had won six straight against BCS-conference teams.

"We've got to do better in the red zone and we've got to be able to run the ball better," Boise State coach Chris Petersen said. "If we do those two things, we'll be OK on offense."

Michigan State leaned on Bell, especially after new starting quarterback Andrew Maxwell threw three first-half interceptions. Maxwell finished 22 of 38 for 248 yards.

Southwick, replacing Moore at quarterback, went 15 of 31 for 169 yards with an interception.

Bell started Michigan State's go-ahead drive with a 7-yard run and later caught a pass for 11 yards. He even blocked a pass rusher to allow Maxwell to find Dion Sims for an 18-yard pass on third down that put the ball at the Boise State 7.

Two plays later, the Spartans had the lead.

On fourth-and-2 in Michigan State territory, Boise State's D.J. Harper appeared to have an easy first down on a pitchout, but officials blew the play dead for a Michigan State timeout.

Southwick then attempted a pass that was defended well by Darqueze Dennard.

Boise State looked overmatched at the start. After a quick three-and-out, the Broncos punted and let Michigan State drive 60 yards in 12 plays for a 7-0 lead on Bell's 1-yard touchdown run.

The Spartans never really took control, though. Maxwell completed his first four passes, but his slant attempt was dropped by Tony Lippett right into the arms of Boise State's Jamar Taylor. The interception led to a field goal, which the Spartans answered when Dan Conroy made a 50-yarder to give Michigan State a 10-3 lead.

In the second quarter, the Broncos went to a couple of their tricks ? a flea-flicker for 23 yards and then a wide receiver pass that fell incomplete. They drove to the Michigan State 9-yard line, but Southwick's third-down pass was deflected by Isaiah Lewis and intercepted by fellow defensive back RJ Williamson, who was on his back in the end zone.

The Spartans quickly returned the favor when Maxwell's screen pass bounced off intended receiver Larry Caper right to Ioane, who returned the interception for a touchdown.

Boise State took the lead on Michael Frisina's 19-yard field goal, and the teams traded two more turnovers in the last two minutes of the half ? a muffed lateral by the Broncos and another interception by Maxwell deep in Boise State territory.

In the third quarter, the Spartans missed a field goal, lost a fumble and lost 10 yards on a failed reverse on the last play of the period.

Fan dies after fall from upper level of Ga. Dome

ATLANTA (AP) ? A 20-year-old man from Tennessee who plunged about 35 feet from the upper level of the Georgia Dome and struck another fan during the Tennessee-North Carolina State game has died, authorities said Saturday.

The man fell on another fan seated in the mezzanine area during the game Friday evening, The Georgia World Congress Center Authority, which operates the downtown football stadium, said in a statement.

Investigator Leon Harrison at the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office told The Associated Press early Saturday that Isaac Grubb of Lenoir City, Tenn., was pronounced dead Friday night, minutes before midnight, at an Atlanta hospital.

He said the man had fallen about 35 feet and appeared to have suffered injuries from blunt force trauma.

"He passed away at the hospital," Harrison told AP by telephone, adding an autopsy was planned Saturday morning.

Harrison said the other fan was a man who was subsequently treated at another Atlanta hospital and released. He had no further details on the man's identity or his condition.

Jennifer LeMaster, a spokeswoman for the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, told AP before the death was confirmed by Harrison that she had no information beyond the authority's initial statement. She said, however, the authority was expected to release more information Saturday afternoon.

The authority had said the fall occurred about 8:30 p.m. Friday night during the game in which Tennessee beat North Carolina 35-21in the season opener for both teams.

The fall occurred a day after a 25-year-old fan tumbled about 60 feet from a fifth-floor escalator at Reliant Stadium in Houston during a preseason Houston Texans game. Jonathon Kelly died from the fall during the Thursday night game against the Minnesota Vikings, and frantic witnesses called police to report where his body had landed, police spokesman John Cannon said. Police said the fall appeared to be an accident.

Last year, a firefighter attending a Texas Rangers game in Arlington died when he fell from the left field stands while reaching for a baseball tossed his way by All-Star outfielder Josh Hamilton. The man's 9-year-old son witnessed the fall. A statue was later dedicated at Rangers Ballpark to the man and his son, and railings were raised throughout the park before this season.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Yale University President Richard C. Levin, who transformed the Ivy League school with a major building and renovation program, an expansion in financial aid and growing international ties, announced Thursday he is stepping down at the end of the academic year after 20 years.

Levin, 65, has served the institution longer than any other president currently in the Ivy League.

His legacy extends well beyond Yale, with several of his administrators going on to lead top universities such as Duke, MIT, Oxford and Cambridge.

Levin, who plans to take a sabbatical and write a book, also left a major impact on New Haven as Yale became a major retail landlord and began a home ownership program and a college scholarship program for local high school graduates.

Yale's endowment went from $3.2 billion when Levin was named president to $19.4 billion this year.

Levin helped raise more than $7 billion during his tenure, Yale officials said.

"He transformed the university in so many ways," said Yale trustee Indra Nooyi, chief executive of PepsiCo. "I'd say that Rick Levin will go down in history as one of the greatest presidents that Yale ever had."

Levin is credited with leading the school's largest building and renovation program since the 1930s.

Yale renovated all 12 of its residential colleges and has plans to build two more.

About 70 percent of the space on campus has been partially or comprehensively renovated since 1993.

Under Levin, the university improved its historically difficult relationship with its unions by securing long-term contracts.

A homebuyers program started in 1994 offered financial incentives to Yale employees to buy homes in the city, and more than 1,000 faculty and staff have participated, Yale officials said.

In 2008, Yale announced what it called the largest increase in financial aid spending in its history, reducing the average cost by more than half for families with financial need, university officials said.

Levin said Thursday that the initiative "made a huge difference in the kind of students we can attract, the very best and brightest from all segments of society and from all around the world."

Yale's percentage of international students went from 3 percent to 10 percent as it offered financial aid to foreign students as well.

All students were offered opportunities to study or work abroad, Yale offered leadership education for international officials and emerging leaders and its professors worked with faculty in China and other countries.

A planned joint campus with the National University of Singapore will open next year, and Levin predicted it will become a model for higher education in Asia.

Levin said he is leaving Yale with no regrets. "It's just been an amazing run," Levin said. "We've accomplished so much in strengthening Yale's programs and in building Yale's position as a global institution."

Last year, students filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education that Yale failed to properly respond to sexual harassment.

Department officials raised concerns with how complaints were handled in the past but praised the steps the university has taken.

Levin noted the department found no violations and said it was an opportunity to make significant changes.

Yale Corp., the university's governing body, will conduct a search for Levin's replacement.

The last Yale president to serve 20 years was Arthur Twining Hadley, who took office in 1899. Levin, who was born and raised in San Francisco, met his wife, Jane Levin, at Yale.

"From the day Jane and I entered graduate school in 1970, Yale has been our life," he wrote in a message to the Yale community. Levin was an economics professor when he was tapped to become president in 1993.

His wife is a senior lecturer, and the couple live in New Haven, where they raised four children.

When Levin took over, Yale's Gothic buildings were deteriorating, a budget deficit divided the campus and urban blight and crime encroached.

Law professor and former law school dean Tony Kronman called it a time of anxiety at the university, where there was "a mood of malaise within the faculty, an uncertainty as to whether we would be able to maintain our position of pre-eminence."

He said Levin quickly showed a steady hand and patience and persistence.

"The most remarkable thing to my mind," Kronman said, "is just his steadiness of purpose day in and day out, year after year."
