The 2011 college football season was one of upstarts and surprises, with teams like Stanford, Oklahoma State and Baylor making waves on a national level like never before. But which teams will be able to sustain that success? I?m B/R college football analyst John Greely, and these are five teams that I think will fall hard next year.
Now, I?d like to make a quick point: not all of these teams will be off the map for long. Some of them are very well coached and will be back before we know it. My goal here was to find relevant 2011 teams that won?t factor into the national equation in 2012. I think I?ve achieved that, but obviously, your opinions may differ.
